Madiha Bhatti
Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #11059) · Registered Canadian Art Therapist
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Canadian Art Therapist working with adults and youth across Ontario. My practice brings together evidence-based psychotherapy and art therapy — two approaches that, used together, tend to reach further than either does alone.
Much of my work is with people who look like they are coping. Anxiety that never quite switches off, the long aftermath of trauma, the adjustment that chronic illness demands, grief that has nowhere to go. What these have in common is how hard they are to explain, and how tiring it becomes to keep explaining.
As a student of traditional Islamic arts, I have seen how creative practice cultivates patience, attention, and perseverance. My own experience of faith and healing shapes the culturally sensitive space I try to offer — one where spiritual reflection is available if it matters to you, and entirely absent if it does not.
