About Baseera

The name, and the idea behind the practice.

بصيرة

Baseera (بصيرة) means inner sight — the ability to see with the heart rather than only the eyes.

It describes something most people arrive in therapy looking for. Not more information about themselves, but a different quality of seeing: the moment a pattern becomes recognisable, when a reaction that seemed irrational turns out to make complete sense, when what felt like a personal failing is revealed as something that was learned and can be unlearned.

That shift rarely arrives through explanation alone. It tends to come sideways — through an image, a metaphor, something made with the hands before it could be put into words. This is why creative expression sits at the centre of this practice rather than at its edges.

Baseera is the journey from confusion to clarity — from simply seeing, to truly understanding.

How this practice works

Therapy here is collaborative and unhurried. You set the direction; my part is to bring training, structure, and a steady presence to it.

There is no single method applied to everyone. Approaches are chosen to fit the person in the room and revisited as things change, and creative work is offered rather than required.

Above all, it is meant to be a space where you do not have to perform being fine.
